This award was presented to the author on April 16, 2016 at the statewide convention in Mankato, MN.  The award consists of a certificate, cash prize, stickers for the book, and lunch at their awards banquet.  In addition, the author was asked to be a  presenter on The Importance of Preserving Our Family History.
